Set in the typical Salento countryside, the Family Village is a recently built village constructed using natural materials from the area such as pietra leccese limestone. Its 64 accommodations are surrounded by century-old olive and pine trees and are very reminiscent of the architectural style of the Salento’s masserie (farmhouses). Located on two levels, they are simply but comfortably furnished and have an equipped balcony if on the first floor and an equipped patio if on the ground floor, all with independent entrance. The cuisine offers traditional regional and local dishes with a Full Board treatment, with buffet style service and drinks included during meals. At 800 mt from the village there is a public beach of sand and shallow rocks, while the lido, with fine golden sand, is on the Alimini coastline 2.8 km away and can be reached by shuttle bus. The village has a large swimming pool with a relaxation area, an engaging but never intrusive animation team offers moments of entertainment and fun with games, shows and theme nights, and for the little ones Mini Club and Kadett Club. The Hotel Family Village is in Frassanito, a seaside resort just 12 km away from Otranto, also known as the “Gateway to the East” for its characteristic old town centre, which is very popular with tourists, its imposing Cathedral and its Aragonese Castle.
