Accomodation description
The Club Hotel Portogreco is located in Scanzano Jonico, inside a thick pinewood, a WWF protected oasis. Thanks to its wide spaces and the many services offered, the Hotel is the ideal place for families with children. It has 220 rooms, all large, spacious and very comfortable. Rooms for the disabled are available. Full board formula is offered, with typical dishes of the Mediterranean cuisine, vegetable buffet and pizza corner, aperitifs at the central bar. Possibility of pre-packaged meals for guests with intolerances. For children there is a baby feeding service. At 700 mt from the Hotel there is a wonderful beach of fine and white sand with a sloping seabed, which can be reached by a walk through the pine wood or by shuttle service. For sports lovers there are various activities on offer, from sailing courses to sea walking, as well as the Sports Area with green volleyball and football pitches. At the two swimming pools, there are entertainment and fitness activities proposed by the friendly animation staff, as well as piano bar in the piazzetta and shows in the amphitheatre at the nearby VIllaggio Torre del Faro. For the little ones, Baby Club, Mini Club and Junior Club. For magical moments of relaxation, an elegant 600 sqm SPA with Jacuzzi, hydrotherapy pool, sauna and Turkish bath. At 50 km the fascinating city of Matera and at 70 km the beautiful and enchanting Trulli of Alberobello.
