Danaide Resort is located on the Ionian coast in Basilicata, in Scanzano Jonico, in the locality of Torre del Faro. The newly built property has 222 rooms located partly in the central building with the main services and partly in the adjacent buildings, connected by internal paths. The Resort offers both Formula Hotel and Formula Residence. At the restaurant there is a Full Board treatment with assisted buffet and there is a well-equipped baby kitchen for the meals of the little ones. On request meals for celiacs available, prepared with gluten-free basic foods. At only 500 mt there is a large private beach, of sand and with a clear sea, which can be reached by an easy path through the green pine wood or by an electric shuttle at set times. Numerous facilities are available for the enjoyment and relaxation of all guests, such as the large 1,800 sqm swimming pool with solarium, Spa and sports fields. An engaging team of animation will offer an entertainment programme until the evening, with games, shows in the amphitheatre, group courses and sports tournaments. Particular attention is paid to children and young people with fun and educational programmes at the Mini Club. The Resort is located in an excellent position to visit places of important historical and cultural interest such as Matera at 60 km or Alberobello with its trulli at 90 km. Bari Airport is 130 km away, Brindisi Airport is 140 km away.
