Accomodation description
The Santa Caterina Village overlooks the beach of Scalea, on the Riviera dei Cedri, and is immersed in a private park. Composed of two buildings, one at about 100 mt and the other at about 50 mt from the beach, connected by an internal shopping gallery, it counts 379 rooms in Mediterranean style with functional furnishings, some for the disabled. It has two restaurants with Full Board formula: the main one overlooks the swimming pool and both offer buffet service, with a wide choice of typical Calabrian products. Two bars complete the offer, one of which is in the garden piano bar, and a dedicated buffet for children. The lido is private and equipped, with direct access from the village, and overlooks the Gulf of Policastro. The beach, of over 6,000 sqm, is of sand and gravel. Sports facilities, two swimming pools for adults and two for children, one of which with water splash, an involving and never intrusive animation for the whole family, the Baby Club and the Junior Club make the Santa Caterina the ideal place for your holidays. Small-sized pet animals are allowed. 30 km from Maratea, famous for the Statue of the Redeemer, about 40 km from the Pollino National Park and only 8 km from the Arcomagno Beach in San Nicola Arcella, the village is an excellent starting point for discovering the beauties of Calabria and Basilicata. Scalea Railway Station is 800 mt away, Lamezia Terme Airport is 120 km away, Naples Airport is 200 km away.
