Accomodation description
The panoramic position of the Hotel Ariston & Palazzo Santa Caterina is one of the most suggestive on the Ionian coast of Sicily. Surrounded by a tropical garden, it is divided into two buildings, Ariston with rooms and main services and Palazzo Santa Caterina, an old mansion with other rooms, for a total of 146 finely furnished accommodations. The Hotel has three restaurants with B&B and Half Board formulas with continental buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with Sicilian specialities served at the table on the terrace. There are also two bars, one of which is by the pool. The beautiful partner beach, a mix of sand and gravel with crystal clear sea, is 5 km away and can be reached by shuttle bus. There is a relaxation area with a hydromassage pool and a panoramic terrace equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the Sicilian sun. Small-sized pet animals are allowed. The Hotel Ariston & Palazzo Santa Caterina boasts a favourable position for excursion lovers, ideal for visiting Taormina and its historical sites such as the Greek Theatre at 200 mt, the fascinating historic centre at only 400 mt and the archaeological complex of Giardini Naxos at 6 km. For those who love adventure, it is possible to experience canoes and rapids and reach the Alcantara gorges, a 6 km long inlet.
